International Yacht Brokers

A Yacht Broker or Brokerage Company is a specialist agent/agency who acts as a representative in the sale of a yacht. The yacht broker/brokerage receives an agreed commission % calculated on the net price achieved for the sale of the yacht. The broker’s job is to market the yacht for sale to the widest audinece possible and generate interest acting soley on behalf of the vendor or prinicple in all negotiations.

The term 'Yacht Broker' can sometimes be confused with the term 'Yacht Charter Broker'. A yacht broker acts as a sales agent in the sale of yachts, rather than the sale of charter time on yachts. In some cases a brokerage company will operate both catagories and employ both charter brokers and yacht brokers.
